Koati Movie Review
Sep. 17th, 2025 04:05 pmI have watched Koati movie a while ago and I had no idea the movie existed back in 2021. This movie is about the animals of Latin America which has a story about a Koati named Nachi and his glass-frog friend named Pako tries to stop Zaina the snake from I think leading their family to a volcano or smth.
The movie is decently good. Not as best as Rio but I think it’s a good movie with a meaning. The movie had worked with WWF and the people working on it really cared about raising awareness about animals, family, and nature. And I absolutely love that.
My favorite characters from this movie is Amaya. She seems so caring and helpful to Nachi. She reminds me of my big sister and one of my teachers from school!
I also told my big sister about this movie and she has never heard of it. She also pointed out the Koati has some familiar voice actors she recognized. But otherwise, this movie is originally dubbed in Spanish, but now Koati is beginning to have a new animated series but it’s mainly for kids.
I hope there will more movies like this in the future, 2d animated or not.
Also fun fact: Lubomir Arsov did storyboarding on both Rio 3 and for Koati!
